On June 17, 2023, His Excellency Mr. Milan Raj Tuladhar, Ambassador of Nepal, has visited the Institute of Oriental Manuscripts RAS taking part in the cultural programme of the XXVI St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). Irina F. Popova, Director of the IOM RAS, Corresponding Member of the RAS, has shown the exhibition in the Department of Manuscripts and the Museum of Russian Oriental studies. Nepali and Nevari manuscripts from the Indian collection and interesting archival documents kept at the Archives of the Orientalists from the collection of I.P. Minaev, the first Russian scholar who did research on Nepal, were put on display in the Green Hall. Mr. Tuladhar has shown great interest in the exhibition and deep knowledge of the history of Russia-Nepal relations. The guided tour was informative for both sides. According to his aides, Mr. Tuladhar was delighted with his visit to the Institute.
